Online store Ozon starts testing door-to-door delivery

MOSCOW, Jul 24 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet store Ozon has debuted on the local market of door-to-door delivery, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Wednesday.

“Ozon has become Russia’s first to launch a test door-to-door delivery. Now when ordering a courier delivery one can choose an option ‘leave by the door’, and an Ozon courier will leave the parcel in a hallway of a house or with a concierge on the client’s request,” the spokesperson said.

The courier will make a photo of the parcel left to prove the fact of delivery.

The pilot takes place in Moscow within a limited choice of users and applies to prepaid orders with no fresh food or goods for health.
